Continuity began its journey with the conservation of the Historic House of Vidyasagar in North Calcutta for the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. We were then involved in preparation of documentation for reconstruction of the house of Vivekananda which was encroached and subdivided beyond recognition to decipher the original layout of the house.
The Bose Institute of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, appointed us for the conservation of Sir Jagadish Bose House, Mayapuri in Darjeeling.
The Goodricke group and the Camellia Plc UK engaged us for the Conservation and Adaptive Reuse of the Tagore Hall, once a residence of Tagore’s son Rathindranath Tagore and one of the few lstill surviving bungalow house at Gurusaday, was conserved and reused to a high international standard of residential living for the group Chairman.
This was followed with the engagement for conservation of the Poddar’s Manor House as well as Thapar’s House at Ballygunge Circular Road.
